Zorg en Zekerheid - a regional insurance brand that operates in ‘Het Groene Hart van de Randstad’ - developed a new brand positioning. ‘Beter in Jouw Buurt’ puts strong emphasis on Zorg en Zekerheid’s personal and regional approach and positions the brand as a human, local player amidst the big, cold corporates that dominate the category. Zorg en Zekerheid invited Storyboard to bring the new positioning to life targeting new- and existing customers with engaging storytelling.
Approach
To underline the regional character of the brand, we embarked on a road trip through Zorg en Zekerheid’s focus market. with a simple (but oh so undervalued) goal; we wanted to meet people and listen to them.
By simply listening we found 50 beautiful, interesting, touching stories that not only represent what Zorg en Zekerheid stands for, but could potentially dictate future products and services.
The 50 stories were translated into videos, commercials, radio commercials, poster campaigns, social ads and many other storytelling assets. All of them were signed off by our campaign line ‘Hier voor Jou’, underlining the closeness of the brand in consumers' lives, both literally and figuratively speaking. Back from our road trip we checked in with the product team to tell them what we learned and deliver actionable insights to them.
Long story short; we basically did research and filmed everything. Instead of keeping the research to ourselves - like you always do - we shared it with the world. It became our campaign.
